Chess Engine Benchmark
Run a fixed tactical suite in your browser and download the measured results.
A small, inspectable tactical suite
Suite v1 contains 12 fixed Lichess positions: four mates in one, four mates in two, and four forks. The reference is the dataset’s first solution move. This measures agreement with those moves at a selected time budget; it does not measure chess Elo, overall engine strength, or brilliance.
0 of 12 positions completed. 0 exact reference matches.

How to interpret a run
A different mating move can be correct even when it does not match the reference. The measured elapsed time includes worker startup for the first position. We reset the search between positions and use one engine thread. Keep this tab visible, close other intensive tasks, and record the device and browser when sharing results. The download includes your browser’s user-agent string but is not uploaded.
Repeat runs can differ because search budgets use time. Compare results only with the same suite, engine version and settings. No results appear until you run the tool; there is no cross-platform winner claim.
